FIRECOM IS MORE THAN HEADSETS

It’s a complete communication solution

The Firecom wireless system features a base station (Referred to as a “ComHub” in our portable system) to give your team flexibility and reliability that no other system can match. Firefighters get secure, real-time communication in any scenario — from the command truck to the scene.

WHY SHOULD YOU CHOOSE A FIRECOM WIRELESS SYSTEM?

24-Hour Battery Life
The base station powers the system independently, allowing Firecom headsets to run up to 24 hours on a single charge. Crews can move through long shifts or multi-day incidents without worrying about downtime or swapping batteries mid-incident.

No Latency, No Dropouts
When you speak, you are heard. Each headset stays connected with crystal-clear, lag-free communication within a 1,600-foot radius of the base (with unobstructed line of sight). No lag. No dropouts. No distorted audio.

Always Reliable
The base station architecture ensures every headset connects directly to the system, not to each other. Unlike mesh or peer-to-peer systems, if one headset powers down or gets damaged, communication for the rest of the team continues without interruption.

Private, Encrypted Communication
The base station acts as the brain of your communication system, giving your crew its own secure, dedicated network powered by DECT7® encrypted digital communication. That means every word stays private — no cross-talk, no interference, no eavesdropping.

Portable and Field-Ready
Firecom’s base station is built for mobility. The system can be repositioned as your team moves, maintaining clear communication in remote locations and around obstacles. Firecom keeps crews connected up to 1,600 feet (line of sight) from the ComHub — ideal for training, USAR, HazMat, wildland staging, industrial sites, tiller training, drone teams, quick attack vehicles, reserve apparatus, and more.

Integrate Mobile and Portable Radios
Firecom’s base station interfaces directly with mobile and portable radios, linking your crew to dispatch and command channels.

Expand Coverage and Team Size by “Tethering”
Need to link multiple teams? Tether several ComHubs to extend your range or unite separate teams into one conversation. You can even link a confined space team underground with command above ground — both stay connected in real time. Start with 5 users and scale to 10, 20, or more by tethering additional ComHubs.

Connect to phone calls and web meetings
Firecom goes beyond radio integration — connect the ComHub directly to phone calls or web meetings for another level of functionality between remote users. Command staff can join virtual briefings, coordinate with outside agencies, or manage hybrid training sessions — all from the same system.
