Standard Features
The Firecom HB-1 headband has a flexible headband, fitted with a bone conduction microphone and speaker.
The HB-1 utilizes a bone conduction speaker mounted behind the ear, allowing the user to receive radio transmissions, while leaving both ears unobstructed. Clear, intelligible sound can be received under normal listening conditions or if the user is wearing ear plugs or hearing protection.
The HB-1 uses a conventional earpiece receiver with an acoustic tube attached from the receiver to the ear.

Intercom Interface The Firecom LX-30 interface connects the helmet kit or headset to Firecom intercoms. Housed in a high impact case with a Push-To-Talk (PTT) button and rotation belt clip, it provides the required electrical interface between the bone conduction products and the intercom. |

Housed in a high impact case with a PTT button and rotating belt clip, it provides the required electrical interface between the bone conduction products and the radio. Firecom interface connections are available for most popular portable radio models. |
