Crediting the Photo
All photos selected for the Firecom Photo Contest will be credited to the photographer named on the submission form that accompanied the photo.
Ownership Use/Rights
Photographers retain the copyright to their photographs. By submitting your photo to the Firecom Photo Contest, you agree that without any fee or other form of compensation, Firecom may:
- Display the photo on the Firecom.com, web site.
- Make resizing, optimizing, or minor cropping adjustments to fit Firecom Web Site format.
- Forward to you inquiries from Web site visitors regarding your photo.
- Use your photo as an "e-postcard."
- Include it in a screen saver package.
- Make and retain copies of the photo for archival purposes.
- Contact you at a later date to request permission for any other use.
In the event that ownership of an image submitted is contested in any manner, Firecom retains the discretion to discontinue use of the image in any form.
Terms and Conditions
You agree to release and hold harmless Firecom and its employees, officers, affiliates, agents, and advertising and promotional agencies for any damages, injuries, claims, causes of actions, or losses of any kind resulting from your photo being in the Firecom Photo Contest, including infringement of intellectual property rights. Firecom and its employees, officers, affiliates, agents, and advertising and promotional agencies assume no responsibility or liability for any damages, injuries, claims, causes of actions, or losses of any kind arising in whole or in part from your photo being in the Firecom Photo Contest.
